› This is my new map illustration of Denmark! Having explored Denmark numerous times,
this map captures the memories of my road trips and cycling adventures throughout the
country. I’ve highlighted all the major cities from north to south, including Copenhagen,
Aarhus, Odense, and Aalborg, as well as the stunning islands of Zealand and Funen.
In my black and white icons, I’ve celebrated the rich Danish culture, featuring beloved
symbols like smørrebrød, hygge, Lego bricks and the iconic Little Mermaid statue,
alongside beautiful historical and modern architecture and scenic landscapes and wild
life. There are also nods to famous Danish art and literature, including references to
Hans Christian Andersen and paintress Anna Ancher.
